Outdoor Season - Summer Programs

HJTEP offers Summer programming for beginning players and high performance tournament level players. The Beginners Day Camp is offered at Howard Bennett Park and the Tournament Training Camp location is TBD. Specific details are listed below.

REGISTRATION STARTS IN MAY 2017


BEGINNERS DAY CAMP
The Beginners Day Camp offers a half-day and full-day session for boys and girls. Participants acquire basic skills, develop hand to eye coordination and start recreational play. The program also includes our A.C.E. Lifeskills educational program. Participants come to the Armory to eat their lunch and to participate in the A.C.E program once a week.

Half-Day Session

  • Ages: Boys and Girls 6 - 8
  • Schedule:
    • Monday - Friday 9AM - 1PM
    • June 26th - August 18th
  • Costs:
    • Full 8-week session - $800

Full-Day Session

  • Ages: Boys and Girls 9 - 16
  • Schedule:
    • Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM
    • June 26th - August 18th
  • Costs:
    • Full 8-week session - $1,200
    • Three-week session - $600

TOURNAMENT TRAINING CAMP

HJTEP Tournament Training Camp (TTC) is designed to offer high performance training to tournament players seeking to excel at the section, national and collegiate levels. Participants also participate in an educational excursion.

Please note: There is a minimum of three weeks commitment to qualify for TTC.

Full-Day Camp

  • Ages: Boy and Girls 10 - 18
  • Schedule
    • Monday - Thursday 9AM - 5PM
    • June 19th - August 24th
  • TTC Costs
    • Weekly Camp - $350/week (3 weeks min.)
    • Four Weeks - $1,000
    • Eight Week session - $ 1,600

TTC focuses on:

  • On-court tennis training
  • Cross training and physical conditioning
  • Nutrition Guidance
  • Match Play
  • Tournament Competition (some travel required)
