MLK Jr. Day Winter Clinic

In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Harlem Junior Tennis & Education Program invites the community to join us for the West Harlem Tennis Clinic, a free, beginner-friendly event centered on play, movement, and togetherness.

Taking place on Monday, January 19, 2026, this clinic welcomes children and teens ages 5–18 of all skill levels. Whether participants are stepping onto the court for the first time or already familiar with the game, the clinic is designed to be inclusive, engaging, and fun for everyone.

From 1:00–3:00 PM, HJTEP coaches and staff will lead age-appropriate tennis activities and drills that promote teamwork, confidence, and physical activity. The clinic will be held at Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park’s Athletic Gymnasium, located at 679 Riverside Drive in New York City (north entrance, off 145th Street and Riverside Drive).

This special MLK Day program reflects Dr. King’s legacy by bringing young people together through sport, community, and shared experiences. Admission is free, and all equipment will be provided.
