Game, Set, Impact: An Unforgettable Pre-US Open Pro-Am

What a day! The inaugural Family Office & Investor Pre-US Open Pro-Am, held at Columbia University’s Milstein Family Tennis Center was a sold out, high-energy, extraordinary success.

A very special thank you goes to Expert Dojo, the driving force behind the event’s vision, promotion, and execution. Their leadership brought together an incredible community of family offices, venture capitalists, corporate leaders, and tennis enthusiasts for a one-of-a-kind day of competition, connection, and impact benefiting HJTEP.

The action on court featured 14 retired tennis professionals led by tennis greats Bob and Mike Bryan, Danielle Collins, Tommy Haas, Vania King, and many more, who competed alongside amateur players and HJTEP’s tournament playing youth. HJTEP student-athletes were at the heart of the action throughout the day, competing on teams and serving as ball boys and ball girls, while bringing their passion for the game to the tournament.

Off the court, guests connected for networking throughout the day and gathered for a rooftop cocktail reception featuring fireside chats moderated by former player and tennis commentator Nick Monroe. Milos Raonic, Danielle Collins, Eden Lopez-Robles, Cinta Del Monaco Kemp, Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, Candice Beaumont. Councilmember,  Yusef Salaam, and Assemblymember and HJTEP Alumnus, Jordan Wright also gave remarks. Expert Dojo's Brian MacMahon, Bill Yuen, and HJTEP Executive Director Katrina Adams shared perspectives spanning tennis, investing, leadership, and life beyond the court.

This day also delivered an incredible impact: more than $165,000 was raised to support HJTEP’s programming for Harlem youth.
