Marathon Monday Victory: Celebrating Running For Legacy’s 26.2-Mile Triumph!
Yesterday was nothing short of extraordinary!
On Sunday, November 1, our four incredible Running for Legacy team members took on 26.2 miles at the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon, proudly representing HJTEP and running in support of the young people we serve!
With the energy, signs, and cheers from our amazing HJTEP community at our cheer stations, our runners experienced the power and pride of Harlem as they made their way to the finish line.
Huge congratulations and heartfelt thanks to our incredible team: Glendon Sanders, Sara Levy-Lambert, Kenny Tao, and Douglas Knox!
Each runner dedicated their time, energy, and determination to making a difference in the lives of the young people we serve. While they've crossed the marathon finish line, our fundraising efforts aren't over just yet!
If you were inspired by their determination, cheered them on along the course, or simply believe in empowering the next generation of champions on and off the court, there's still time to make an impact.
