WTA Come Play Program Presented by Morgan Stanley
HJTEP was proud to partner again with the WTA Foundation and Morgan Stanley for the WTA Come Play Clinic, bringing tennis and inspiration to New York City’s youth during the week before the US Open.
The week kicked off with a group of HJTEP’s middle school and high school girls visiting Morgan Stanley’s Headquarters. They met with the company’s leadership, toured the office’s new employee gym, participated in a financial education session, and networked with Morgan Stanley’s staff. This field trip inspired our students to dream boldly about opportunities and their future careers.
At Howard Bennett Playground in Harlem, HJTEP youth participated in an immersive clinic led by Coach Judy Murray with support from WTA retired player Vania King and current players Asia Muhammad and Clervie Ngounoue.
This year marked the third consecutive summer that the WTA Come Play partnership honored HJTEP with this rewarding youth clinic with valuable funding & visibility support for our organization. We remain grateful to the WTA Foundation and Morgan Stanley for their support and shared goals to expand access to tennis and empower young people to thrive both on and off the court.
